State volleyball titles up for grabs


Three NHIAA volleyball tournaments will be decided this weekend. On Friday night, top-ranked Nute of Milford will battle third-seeded Winnisquam of Tilton at 7 p.m. for the Division III title at Plymouth State University.

Last year Nute finished runner-up to Winnisquam.

Pinkerton Academy will host the Division I and II volleyball finals on Saturday.

The 5 p.m. Division II title game features second-ranked Windham against top-seeded Coe-Brown Academy of Northwood. Last year, Gilford won the title.

Salem looks to repeat as Division I champion against top-ranked Dover at 7 p.m. Salem, the third-seeded team this year, beat Goffstown for the title last year.
