Money taken from eight unlocked Bow vehicles since Sept. 1

BOW - Bow police are investigating reports of thefts of loose change and paper money from eight vehicles since Sept. 1.
The cars were parked in driveways, and one vehicle was parked inside an unlocked garage. All of the vehicles were unlocked, police said.
Taken were loose coins, rolled coins, and some paper currency. Police suspect the thefts occurred in the early morning hours between 4 and 6 a.m. over several weeks. The thefts were in the areas of Knox Road, Logging Hill Road, Albin Road, Bow Bog Road, Meadow Lane, Clinton Street and Page Road.
Bow police are also investigating two recent residential burglaries, one Oct. 25 on Bow Center Road and the other on Nov. 6 on Hooksett Turnpike. Both occurred sometime in the daytime or early evening hours. Firearms and a computer were stolen from one home, and a computer and electronic equipment were stolen from the other home. Both houses were unlocked at the time.
