Nashua police identify suspect in convenience store robbery

NASHUA - Police have an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old man in connection with Thursday's robbery of the Lake Street Convenience store.

Police said the man who robbed the store at 49 Lake St. and hit the store owner in the head with a blunt object was Michael Warner, who is from Nashua but has no permanent address. He is wanted on one count of armed robbery, a class A felony.

Mohammed Raton needed 10 stitches to close a head wound suffered in the robbery.

Lt. Denis Linehan said anyone who sees Warner should use caution and call police at 603-594-3500.
