Abduction attempt reported in Goffstown

GOFFSTOWN — A woman who told a driver she didn’t want a ride fought off the same man after he returned and tried to pull her into his car Monday night, police said.

Police say the woman was approached by the man around 7:10 p.m. on Daniel Plummer Road near Cote Avenue. The woman said the driver left the area after she refused his offer for a ride, but returned and grabbed her.

Police said the woman was able to break free of the man, run away and call police.

The vehicle was described as a dark-colored, four-door vehicle.

A Nixle message was sent out to alert members of the community.

Anyone with information is asked to call Goffstown police at 497-4858.
