Seabrook man injured in Rochester motorcycle crash
ROCHESTER - A Seabrook man was taken by helicopter to a Maine hospital after he was injured in a motorcycle crash on Rochester Hill Road Monday morning.
Police said Christopher D. Philbrick, 23, suffered serious injuries in the accident that happened near Skyhaven Airport and was flown by helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.
Philbrick's passenger, Alisha Hills, 19, also of Seabrook, was not injured.
Police say Philbrick was operating a 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle northbound on Rochester Hill Road when he drove off the paved portion of the roadway into the dirt.
Both were wearing helmets.
Police said the roadway remained open and no other vehicles were involved. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact Officer Harding at 330-7128.
