Hooksett police arrest pair on assault and drug charges
HOOKSETT - A Nashua woman and Hooksett man were arrested Sunday afternoon in Hooksett, on drug and assault charges.
At 3:46 p.m. police responded to a domestic disturbance at 25 Poore Road. When officers arrived they were told by the victim that he had been assaulted by Nicole Foster, 34, of Nashua.
According to the victim, Foster punched him in the face and spat on him.
After an investigation police say they found that Foster allegedly damaged property belonging to the victim.
Foster was arrested on scene and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief. She was held on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, and will be arraigned Dec. 18.
While at the address police determined that a witness to the assault, Brian Gaessler, 36, had an active warrant for his arrest out of Laconia. After he was taken into custody, police say they found him to be in possession of prescription medication that was not prescribed to him, and that he was not authorized to be in possession of.
Gaessler refused bail, and will be arraigned Monday.
