UPDATE: Halfway house inmate found in Boston

BRANDON McNEIL

MANCHESTER — An inmate at the Calumet halfway house in Manchester who officials say failed to show up for work Thursday as expected has been found in Boston, according to the state Corrections Department.
Manchester resident Brandon Stewart McNeil, 23, left the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit, which is located on Lowell Street, about 8:30 a.m. He did not report to work and was placed on walkaway status at 11:45 a.m.
The 5-foot, 9-inch, 200-pound McNeil was imprisoned for burglary in July 2012 and was eligible for parole this March, officials said.
Corrections officials said on their Twitter account this afternoon that McNeil will be returned to the state prison in Concord.
