Monarchs cut Ullrich
The Manchester Monarchs released center Mike Ullrich from his pro tryout agreement, Hubie McDonough, the team’s director of hockey operations, announced on Monday.
Ullrich, 27, registered an assist on Friday night in the Monarchs’ win over Worcester. He played in all three of the team’s weekend games.
The Monarchs host the Springfield Falcons on Friday night at 7, then travel to Connecticut for games against Hartford (Saturday, 7 p.m.) and Bridgeport (Sunday, 3 p.m.).
