Wobble 'n' Gobble run set for Thanksgiving in Franconia

FRANCONIA — Organizers of a Thanksgiving Day walk and run event want you to get out of bed and get moving before you fill your belly with turkey and stuffing.

The Wobble 'n' Gobble is a 3.14-mile run or walk on an easy loop through scenic Franconia village.

Registration runs from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at the Lafayette Regional School, 149 Main St., where the race will begin at 9 a.m.

Entry fees are $5 for children under 12 when registered with an adult and $30 for adults. Proceeds benefit Adaptive Sports Partners of the North County and Lafayette Recreation.
