Hooksett considers deal to allow some students to attend Bow, Londonderry schools
The agreements, called Memorandums of Understanding, would allow up to 40 students in each class to attend Londonderry and up to 10 to attend Bow. Board members say a vote also could be taken on a new 10-year sending contract with Pinkerton Academy.
"I am concerned on voting for MOUs when we don't have a policy in place to control the numbers that are stated in the agreements, and currently we don't," Pearl said.
Unlike the high school sending contract being negotiated with Pinkerton, any MOU agreement would not have to be a minimum of 10 years and would not have to be approved by residents in a warrant article.
