UPDATE: 3 teens taken into custody for Laconia boys and girls club damage

LACONIA - Police took three teenage boys into custody Tuesday for burglary and criminal mischief in connection with the damage to the Laconia Boys and Girls Club discovered Monday.
In addition to throwing food around the building, vandals left a faucet running, causing heavy damage to the building.
In a release issued Tuesday afternoon, Laconia police said detectives and school resource officer Steve Orton took the three into custody. The boys are 14, 15 and 16 years old and are all from Laconia. Police said they have been released to their parents, and the case will be procesecuted in the juvenile division of the circuit court.

LACONIA — The Lakes Region Boys and Girls Club, 719 N. Main St., was heavily damaged by someone who broke into the building, turned on the faucet and left the water running.
Police said other damage was caused when food was thrown around inside the building.
The burglary was discovered Monday. Detectives and officers collected evidence at the scene.
