2 men charged with stealing 'empty' ATM in Nashua

NASHUA — Two men have been arrested for allegedly stealing an automated teller machine at a local car wash and then dumping it in the woods after finding out it was empty.

Roland Dion, 27, of 75 Kinsley St., and Lake Munday, 27, no fixed address, are facing criminal charges for the incident.

According to police, the automated teller machine from the Shell gas station at 270 Main Dunstable Road was valued at about $15,000. At the time of the theft, there was no money inside of the machine, said authorities.

Dion has been charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking, while his alleged accomplice, Munday, has been charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another to theft, also a felony.

The couple was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
