Teen injured in pedestrian/car collision in Hudson

HUDSON - A 13-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Thursday after he was hit by a car in the area of E & A Mart on Webster Street.

Police said the accident happened at 3:05 p.m. Lucas Dube, 20, was driving a 1996 Honda Civic south on Webster Street as the boy was crossing the street, police said.

Sgt. Tad Dionne said the investigation is continuing but it appears the child "failed to yield." No charges are expected.

The boy was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua for treatment of injuries police described as not life-threatening. He was later released.

A section of Webster Street, near the 187 Webster St. market, was reduced to one lane while the collision was investigated.
