Mass. man charged with sex assault of teen in Nashua

NASHUA - A Massachusetts man is charged with felony sexual assault in connection with a relationship he had with a 15-year-old girl, police said.

James Santiago, 25, of Ayer turned himself in to police on Friday.

Police said they received a complaint on Nov. 15 about Santiago that alleged he had been involved in a relationship with a teenage girl and had sex with her in Nashua on three separate occasions between Dec. 2012 and Feb. 2013.

Santiago also will be charged with two additional felonious sexual assault counts for the two separate, related incidents, police said.

What's next: Santiago is free on $25,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment Jan. 2 in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
