Nashua man held in home invasion

MICHAEL FINK

NASHUA - A city man is accused of hitting a man in the head with a wooden board in a home invasion Wednesday on Temple Street.

About 3:10 a.m., Michael Fink, 30, of 507 Broad St., entered a 23 Temple St. apartment through an unlocked door, police said. Once inside, investigators said he struck the man, whose name police did not release, in the head with the board.

The man was taken to Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries police described as not life-threatening.

Fink and the injured man know each other, according to investigators.

What's next: Fink is to be arraigned Thursday on charges of burglary and first-degree assault in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
