Coos Superior Court hands up indictments

LANCASTER — A Coos County Superior Court grand jury handed up several sexual assault indictments during its December session.

Paul Bedell, 38, of 140 Grafton Street, No. 8 in Berlin was charged with three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault between August and December 2012 in Berlin.

Bedell is accused of assaulting a 12-year-old girl, in one case after he had been hiding under her bed, according to the indictments.

Jeremy Brooks, 20, of 14 Center Road, Milton, is charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault against an 8-year-old child between May 30 and Sept. 3, 2012, in Errol.

Mark Aubin, 44, of 89 York St., Berlin, is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault and two counts of felonious sexual assault between April 1, and Oct. 8, 2000, in Berlin, against a 14-year-old girl; and between Jan. 1, 1992, and April 15, 1993, in Berlin against a child under the age of 13 when Aubin was 22 and 23.

He's also accused of sexually assaulting a child between the ages of 13 and 16 between April 16, 1993, and Jan. 1, 1995, in Berlin when Aubin was between 23 and 25; and of sexually assaulting a child between the ages of 13 and 16 between April 1, 2000, and Oct. 8, 2000, in Berlin when Aubin was between 30 and 31.

Ronald A. Jordan, 27, of 41 Depot St. in Lancaster, is charged with two counts of felonious sexual assault and one count of sexual assault.

He's accused in all counts of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old child on Sept. 13, 2013, in Lancaster.
