Nashua begins issuing Tree Streets parking permits
“We have issued about 15 so far,” Bergeron said on Thursday morning. “I think once we get past the holiday season, I expect to see more people in here to register.”
Permits are $10 each and will expire on Dec. 31, 2014.
In order to obtain an overnight parking permit, qualified residents must bring into Nashua City Hall a current New Hampshire vehicle registration certificate or proof of the vehicle’s insurance at the city residence, in addition to one of the following documents to prove residency: valid certificate of title, title application that is not marked “non-resident,” lease or rental agreement, notarized letter from landlord at the address provided, mortgage statement, any current utility bill, property tax bill, government check, payroll check, payroll document or employment contract with the address provided.
Eligible residents may call the Nashua City Clerk’s office at 589-3010 for more information or visit Nashua City Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to obtain a permit.
