H.S. Hockey Holiday Tournament Roundup: Pinkerton earns tie

Pinkerton built a two-goal lead through two periods and was backed by strong goaltending from junior Brendan Murphy, but was unable to hold on the the lead as Lewiston, Maine, scored two third period goals in a 2-2 tie Friday at the Icenter in Salem on second day play at the Tuscan Kitchen Holiday Tournament.

Senior Ryan Christie opened the scoring halfway through the first with assists from junior Stephen Leonard and senior Bailey Walsh.

Junior Ethan Landry extended the lead early in the second with help from fellow junior Gio Corsetto, but Lewiston stuck on the power play in the first minute of the third and again shorthanded with just under five minutes left.
