NASHUA — The Gate City Charter School for the Arts will host a public information night on Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Nashua Public Library auditorium.
The mission of the Gate City Charter School for the Arts is to use an arts-integrated curriculum to educate students in grades K-8, although it will open with grades K-4 in September.
Enrollment in the free public charter school is open to all New Hampshire residents. Enrollment forms will be available starting Jan. 22 on the website www.gatecitycharterschool.org. Enrollment forms must be postmarked by March 7 to be in the March 17 lottery. Forms postmarked after the deadline will be placed on the wait list
The goal of the Gate City Charter School for the Arts is to produce graduates who excel in both academics and the arts and have knowledge, creativity, and curiosity that will encourage and support a lifelong love of learning.
The arts-integrated curriculum is designed to support innovation, flexibility and creativity in solving complex problems in school and in life after school.
At the information night, members of the Gate City Charter School for the Arts will give a presentation. A question and answer session will follow and enrollment forms for the school will be available.
Gate City Charter School for the Arts invites interested parents, community members, business leaders, and representatives of community organizations to attend.
