Tubing brings riders to Granite State slopes
Carving a ride on skis or snowboard isn't the only way down a slope.
Snow tubing is a popular draw in New Hampshire, with some ski areas offering high-speed runs and others, twisting, banked routes.
A sampling of sites that offer snow tubing, according to www.skinh.com, includes: Bretton Woods, Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, Granite Gorge in Keene, Great Glen Trails in Pinkham Notch, Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, Jackson XC, King Pine at Purity Spring Resort in East Madison, Loon Mountain in Lincoln, McIntyre Ski Area in Manchester, Pats Peak in Henniker,Ragged Mountain in Danbury and Waterville Valley.
