Police investigating allegation against high school principal in Farmington

FARMINGTON – Police are nearly finished looking into whether High School Principal Matt Jozokos allegedly threatened a student last month, according to Police Chief Kevin Willey.

"The allegation is that Jozokos threatened a student in late December just prior to Winter break," Willey said in an e-mail. "The investigation is nearly complete, and after consultation with the Strafford County Attorney's office, is being forwarded to them for review."

Willey said further information will be released Friday.

Superintendent Steve Welford could not be reached Thursday night for comment. Board member Penny Morin refused to comment on whether Jozokos would be at the school Friday, referring all questions to Welford.

Tim Buckland of the Union Leader staff contributed to this story.
