Councilors want time to consider cell tower
Under the proposal, the town would lease out a small parcel at 36 Tsienneto Road to AT&T. The company wants to construct an approximately 150-foot cell tower on a 50-by-50-foot area of the property, said Thomas Carrier, deputy director of public works.
In return for leasing the property, the town would receive $2,000 a month in revenue. This would add up eventually to $697,000 over a 25-year period, Carrier said.
