Woman arrested for Millie's Tavern burglary in Hampton

HAMPTON - Hampton police arrested a local woman Monday and charged her with the Jan. 10 burglary of Millie's Tavern on L Street.

Jennifer Pelletier of 17 M St., Hampton, was charged with burglary. She was arrested by investigators on Winnacunnet Road in Hampton without incident.

Also arrested was Shane McCarthy of Hampton, who was with Pelletier when she was arrested and who had a warrant for his arrest on a simple assault charge in Hampton, as well as a warrant for burglary in Seabrook and a parole violation. Police said McCarthy was also charged with another count of burglary after he was identified by police as an accomplice in the Millie's Tavern theft.

Pelletier was also charged with theft from a vehicle after police say she broke into cars prior to the burglary.

Both Pelletier and McCarthy were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in 10th Circuit Court, Seabrook District Court. Pelletier is being held at the Rockingham County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, and McCarthy is being held without bail due to a parole violation.
