Bedford skaters blank Oyster River

GOFFSTOWN — Steve Tempesta earned the shutout as the Bedford boys’ hockey team blanked Oyster River of Durham, 3-0, on Tuesday night at Sullivan Arena.

Chris Viola scored twice, including a shorthanded goal late in the third period. Harrison Voloshin scored the other Bulldog goal. The shutout was the third in seven games for Tempesta.

Bedford coach Marty Myers said: “We did what we needed to do but it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped for.” Myers said his team took too many penalties and missed chances.
