Newbury Comics targeted by thieves

MANCHESTER - Thieves made off with about $1,000 in merchandise Friday morning in a burglary at Newbury Comics, 777 S. Willow St.
About 3 a.m., an alarm alerted police to the burglary. The thieves broke the front glass door to get inside and then took some merchandise.
Officers searched the store and the surrounding area, finding some items ditched by the burglars.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call police at 668-8711 or Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
Tipsters to Crimeline remain anonymous and are eligible for cash rewards if information provided is credible and leads to an arrest and conviction.
