January 19. 2014 9:39PM

A woman from Manchester was listed in serious condition in an Oklahoma Hospital after a vehicle she was driving was involved in a single-car crash early Sunday morning in Kingfisher County, Okla.

According to a release provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 81. According to the release, a 1999 Ford Explorer, driven by Chyenne Malburne, 31, of Manchester was heading southbound on U.S. 81 when it went off the roadway to the left, entering a grass median.

The vehicle re-entered the roadway, but the driver lost control a second time, and the vehicle overturned “an unknown amount of times” according to the release, finally coming to rest on the driver’s side.

The release reports that Malburne was pinned for “an unknown amount of time” before being extricated by emergency responders.

She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid, where she was listed Sunday night in serious condition, suffering from arm, leg and head injuries.

While the release reports that a juvenile was in the vehicle at time of the accident, Oklahoma state police did not release that person’s identity or condition of a juvenile.

Police report that both Malburne and the passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. The cause is under investigation.
