Rand Paul to participate in conservative anti-Obamacare event Saturday
The event will be hosted by the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire and the national group Freedom Works and will be held at the Bedford Country Club.
An afternoon training session will be followed by an evening town hall.
Speaking will be Paul as well as state Sen. Andy Sanborn, Dean Clancy of Freedom Works and Aaron Day of the RLCNH. Day said Paul, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, will participate by Skype.
Also invited to speak, Day said, are federal candidates who have agreed to sign a pledge to oppose "the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) in any form, including, but not limited to, expanding Medicaid in New Hampshire though the use of federal funds, regardless of how those funds are allocated."
Day said U.S. Senate candiates Karen Testerman and Jim Rubens and U.S. House candidates Frank Guinta and Gary Lambert have agreed to pledge and attend.
