College Basketball: Wildcat men top Albany


 

Free throws from Chris Pelcher and Jordon Bronner in the final 29 seconds lifted the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team to a 60-56 America East men's basketball win over the University of Albany Thursday in Durham. Pelcher made one free throw for a 58-56 lead, and two more in the final 10 seconds by Bronner sealed UNH's fourth win in 19 outings this season. Albany fell to 10-10.

Bronner finished with 14 points and Daniel Dion added 13 for the Wildcats, now 2-4 in conference action. Pelcher had 11 points and seven boards off the bench for UNH, which trailed 28-26 at halftime.
