Clarksville snowmobile crash injures R.I. woman

CLARKSVILLE — A Rhode Island woman was injured Saturday when she was thrown from her snowmobile, according to a release from New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.

Madeleine Guyer, 65, of Lincoln, R.I., failed to negotiate a curve on a snowmobile trail in the town of Clarksville about 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Her snowmobile landed in a drainage ditch and she was thrown from the vehicle, the release said.

Guyer was taken to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the release said.
