Ex-Seabrook worker guilty on gun charges

SEABROOK - A former town employee will spend one year on probation following five days in jail, after being convicted last month on three counts of firearm-related felonies.

William Knowles, 45, of 7 Lower Collins St., was found guilty in a jury trial at Rockingham Superior Court in December on three class B felony charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm: a Remington 1100 12-gauge shotgun, a 12-gauge Winchester Ranger shotgun and a .22-caliber Marlin.

On Monday, Superior Court Justice Marguerite L. Wageling sentenced Knowles to 12 months at Rockingham County Jail for each count, with all but five days suspended.
