Hampton man faces drug charges in Mass.


SALISBURY, Mass. (MCT) - A Hampton man with at least 10 different aliases and a lengthy criminal history was arraigned yesterday in Newburyport District Court on multiple drug charges a day after he was arrested with 12 grams of heroin in his right shoe, according to police.

Ian Osbourne, also known as William Owens, 34, 25 L St., was charged with heroin possession with intent to distribute, heroin possession, possession of a class B drug (Adderall), obstruction of justice, no seat belt and two previous warrants. He is being held on $675 cash pending a pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 19.

One of the warrants dates back to 2001 out of Amesbury on identity fraud, possession of class D substance and disguise to obstruct charges.
