A Merrimack woman was arrested on drunk driving and other charges Friday after being involved in a crash Friday evening with two young children in her car.
Police allege Jennifer Walker, 38, was drunk and had two children under the age of 6 in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Walker was arrested after being involved in a rear-end collision Friday at about 5:15 p.m. Police said officers responding to the crash on Daniel Webster Highway administered field sobriety tests and arrested Walker on two counts aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
When asked Sunday night to explain the relationship between Walker and the two children with her in the vehicle at the time of the crash, Merrimack police Sgt. Dennis Foley would not release any further information, due to the young age of the children.
Walker was released on $4,000 personal recognizance and will be arraigned on Feb. 11.
