Winter storm closes city offices and schools in Dover

DOVER - While schools, the library and all city offices are closed due to the ongoing storm, the city council will decide whether to postpone a workshop by 4 p.m.

The forecast calls for 8-12 inches of snow to fall in the area by the end of the day, according to the National Weather Service.

Unless a decision is made, the workshop is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers. Officials planned to discuss tax increment financing, according to the agenda.

At this time there is no plan to implement emergency parking measures or to establish a warming center in the city.
