College Basketball: Lehr scores 20 points to lead St. Anselm women past SNHU

Tori Lehr finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds as St. Anselm College downed Southern New Hampshire University 77-60 in a Northeast-10 women’s basketball contest Wednesday night at the Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.The Hawks stand at 11-10 overall and 7-9 in the NE-10.The Penmen fall to 7-13 and 5-10 in the league.

Lehr finished 9-of-13 from the floor. Candace Andrews totaled 18 points and six assists. Briana Jones added 14 points.

Southern New Hampshire was led by sophomore Erin Doherty, who tallied a career-high 22 points. Lorreta Rocha totaled 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Sara Ryan knocked down a pair of three-pointers and added 13 points.
