Sunapee man last seen on Friday; police continue search


QUECHEE, Vt. — Police said Monday they continue to search for a 42-year-old Sunapee man whose car was found at Quechee Gorge Saturday.

Michael Hayward Jr. was last seen Friday afternoon in the Upper Valley area, including Lebanon and Enfield, according to a missing person flyer from his family.

Hayward has blue eyes, brown hair and is 6’2” and 190 pounds. He was wearing a black monogram vest, dark crew neck long sleeve sweater with a white under shirt, dark jeans and loafers.

Hartford police found his car at the gorge on Saturday. Police said the vehicle was unoccupied, and there were no signs of foul play.
