Storm causes sporadic power issues throughout state Thursday

ROCHESTER – Although a only few communities experienced power issues Thursday, Public Service of N.H. is ready to respond during the storm, according to spokesman Martin Murray.
"We are watching the weather closely," Murray said, adding up to a foot of heavy wet snow – mixed with sleet and freezing rain in some places – could fall across the region.

"Those conditions can sometimes lead to limbs or branches coming down on wires or equipment and causing power outages," Murray said, adding PSNH has more than 400 line workers and tree crew members ready to assist in restoring power, if necessary.
