Two C Pack in Nashua joins Autajon group
NASHUA — Two C Pack Systems Corp., which produces packaging for confectionary, spirits, food, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, has joined the Autajon group of companies headquartered in France. The move for the Nashua company comes as part of consolidation efforts by Two C Park’s Italian parent company, Fincarta Packaging Group, the company announced Friday.
Two C Pack Systems employs about 100 full-time employees at the 315,000-square-foot facility on Northwest Boulevard that the company bought in 2008, according to Marcia Frankl, its human resources director. During the company’s busy season, it employs an additional 100 to 125 temporary or seasonal employees, she said.
Two C Pack Systems began selling and marketing packaging in the United States in 1981 for Cartotecnica Chierese, a European packaging company. In 2006, together with several other Italian family-owned packaging companies, it formed the Fincarta Group.
The consolidation reinforces Autajon’s reputation in Europe and the United States for expertise in folding carton packaging, according to a release. It has another subsidiary in the U.S. market, New Jersey-based Cultech. Autajon is known for perfume and cosmetic packaging and is a major producer of labels in France, particularly for wine, the company said.
“This consolidation will secure our place as an international leader in the packaging industry as we continue to grow and develop new business for the future,” Fincarta said.
Autajon Group now has about 3,500 employees and 26 facilities, and in 2014 is expected to achieve sales of more than $750 million, the company said.
