Adelle Pitsas scored 12 points, Rebecca Cleary tallied 11 and Taylor Steinbrecher added 10 as the Milford girls’ basketball team beat Merrimack Valley 47-37 on Friday night in Penacook.

Milford outscored the hosts 20-10 in the fourth quarter to improve to 13-1 (first) in Division II. MV dropped to 10-4.




Bedford 61, Timberlane 13: McKenzie Brown and Haley Driscoll each scored 10 points for host Bedford, which remained unbeaten (13-0) in Division I. The Owls are 0-15.




Londonderry 63, Salem 33: At Londonderry, the Lancers received 12 ponts from both Taylor Collins and Brittany Roche and improved to 13-1 in Division I. Londonderry held Salem to 15 points in the first half. Allie Sirmaian led Salem with 12.

Boys’ basketball

Bedford 56, Timberlane 47: At Plaistow, Bedford evened its record at 7-7 behind 25 points from Taylor Grande and 15 from Cam Meservey. Timberlane, still winless at 0-16, got 15 points from Max Lynch.




Exeter 75, Nashua South 69: At Nashua, the Blue Hawks received a 25-point performance from point guard Zack Holler and closed the game with an 11-5 run. South tied the game in the fourth after it trailed by 12 after three quarters.




Portsmouth 55, Windham 44: At Portsmouth, Joey Glynn scored a game-high 20 points to help the Clippers improve to 12-2 in Division II. Windham, which was held to four points in the third quarter, fell to 8-6.
