Nashua woman charged in assault

DESIRAE DREW

NASHUA - A city woman is accused of choking a woman as well as punching her in the face during an argument Saturday afternoon.

Desirae Drew, 20, of 11 Salem St., is charged with second-degree assault and three counts of simple assault. Police described the victim as her "significant other."

Lt. Denis Linehan said Drew ripped the woman's necklace off her neck, punched her in the face, grabbed her by her head and shoved her into a wall, and choked her.

She was held on $3,500 cash/surety bail.
