Nashua police: Woman goes on a rampage at ex-boyfriend's home

NASHUA — A Hudson woman was so enraged with her former boyfriend Tuesday night that according to Nashua police she drove into his new girlfriend's car, sending it crashing through the garage, slammed his flat-screen television into a wall, threatened him with a box cutter, then chased his new girlfriend down the street with the box cutter.

Katie Rollins, 34, of 15 Tamarack St., is facing charges including three counts of criminal mischief — two misdemeanors and the other a class B felony — two counts of criminal threatening, both class B felonies, and five counts of simple assault, four of them domestic violence related.

The incident happened a little before 9 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Rollins' former boyfriend.

Lt. Denis Linehan said Rollins drove into his new girlfriend's car, pushing it through the garage. She also went inside his home to his bedroom where police say she smashed his flat-screen television by throwing it against a wall and then repeatedly slammed a door into the wall, breaking it off its hinges.

She also is accused of attacking him, spitting in his face, kneeing him in the groin and punching him in the face.

Linehan said Rollins also picked up the power cord to an Xbox and swung it at the new girlfriend, hitting her in the stomach. She then allegedly threatened a male roommate with a box cutter before threatening the girlfriend with it as well, chasing her down the street.

Linehan said Rollins fled the scene before police arrived, but she was later arrested in Hudson.

She was being held on $15,000 cash bail pending arraignment Wednesday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
