Host Manchester Memorial got 26 points from Angie Marazzi and used a 19-0 third quarter to pull away from Exeter in a girls' basketball game Saturday.
 
 
Marazzi connected on seven 3-pointers, including five in the first half as Memorial (11-4) built a 26-16 lead at the break, prior to the decisive third quarter.

Memorial's Makenah Grisson "was a beast defensively," according to her coach, Maureen LaRoche. Grisson had eight points, all from the free throw line, to go with her 15 rebounds and five steals.

Alex Peucker led Exeter (4-13) with eight points.

Boys' hockey

Central 2, Exeter 0: At Manchester, Ian Beliveau made 28 saves and posted his fifth shutout of the season as Central raised its Division I record to 8-7.

Ian Low and Jon Mathieu scored for the Little Green. Noah Duplessis, Devon Sprague and Tim Tetrault collected assists.
