Son of Phillips Exeter alum killed, eaten by New Guinea tribe
A new book offers further confirmation that Michael Rockefeller did not drown off the coast of New Guinea in 1961 as previously believed, but was killed by a tribe as payback for the murder of locals in a raid by Dutch government officials years earlier. The author also alleges the Dutch government knew what happened but covered up the information.
