NHIAA Roundup: Belmont-Gilford ices Souhegan

Daryll Cahill scored twice to carry the Belmont-Gilford boys' hockey team to a 4-2 victory over Souhegan of Amherst on Saturday at Laconia Ice Arena.




Kersarge 3, I-L/Moultonborough 3: At Andover, senior Will Aufranc collected three goals for Kearsarge, but the Cougars allowed Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough to score twice in the final four minutes and finished the regular season with a 2-10-2 record.

Boys' basketball

Campbell 63, Mascenic 62: At Litchfield Friday, Mascenic led twice in the fourth quarter and had a chance with less than four seconds remaining, but could not overcome the Cougars.

Leading scorers for the Cougars were Zach Bergeon (31 points) and Harrison Vedrani (24 points).
