Hudson police probe suspicious package

HUDSON — Hudson police were busy Sunday night investigating reports of a suspicious package at a local condominium complex.

On Sunday at 6 p.m., Hudson police were called to the Elmwood Village Condominium Complex on Elmwood Drive for a report of a suspicious item located on a door step. Upon arrival, police found an unidentified brown box on the front step of a unit.

Hudson fire personnel were called, and assisted in the evacuation of some residents in close proximity to the package.
The Nashua Police Department dispatched its Hazardous Device Unit, which inspected the device and determined it was not suspicious in nature.

No officers or residents were injured during this response.
