UNH men fall, will play UVM in tourney

The University of New Hampshire ended its regular season on a six-game losing streak.

UNH on Sunday lost to rival Maine, 73-69, in Orono. Jordon Bronner led the Wildcats with 24 points.

UNH dropped to 6-23 overall and 4-12 in league action. The Wildcats, who led Maine 49-37 with 18 minutes left, will be seeded eighth in the America East Conference Tournament.

The Wildcats will play regular-season champion and No. 1 seed Vermont in an America East quarterfinal-round game Saturday at noon at the University at Albany's SEFCU Arena.
