Two weekend arrests outside Manchester bars

MANCHESTER — A city man is accused of threatening to shoot a bar employee and the windows of the downtown establishment.

Filipe Olinger, 29, of 485 Dubuque St., was arrested last Friday on felony charges of criminal threatening and reckless conduct.
Police said Olinger made the threats on Feb. 23 at Social 24, a bar at 24 Depot St., but the manager did not file the complaint until five days later. Olinger was arrested shortly after.
The manager told police Olinger was drinking alcohol in the bar before he unholstered a handgun and pointed it at one of her employees. Several bouncers removed him from the bar, but on the way out Olinger allegedly threatened to "shoot out the windows." Police said that threat alarmed not only the manager, but her staff as well.
Shortly after the complaint was filed, police arrested Olinger at the nearby Drynk, 20 Old Granite St.
Another city man was arrested Saturday after an officer saw a group of men arguing in the area of Club ManchVegas, 50 Old Granite St.
Police said Officer Casey Finn, to ensure his own safety, patted down Timothy O'Regan, 21, of 141 Second St., and found an unlicensed handgun. He was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon (firearm).
When O'Regan was searched at the police station, police said they found a small amount of cocaine on him and subsequently charged him with possession of a controlled drug.
