Warriors whip Celtics

BOSTON -- David Lee had 18 points and 10 rebounds as Golden State ended a six-game Eastern Conference road trip with a 108-88 blowout win in Boston.

Klay Thompson added 18 points for the Warriors, who went 4-2 on their trek. Jordan Crawford poured in 15 points in a reserve role while Stephen Curry added 14 in limited action.

Kelly Olynyk's 19 points paced the Celtics, who have dropped seven of eight. Rajon Rondo added 14 points and seven assists but also had seven of Boston's 21 turnovers.

Golden State opened up a 30-22 lead after one quarter and kept the pressure on in the second, rattling off the first seven points - highlighted by a Harrison Barnes 3-pointer - to stretch the lead to 15. Boston closed to within single digits on a pair of Jerryd Bayless free throws but Golden State closed the half with five straight made field goals - the last an Andre Iguodala 3-pointer off a feed from Andrew Bogut - to carry a 61-40 advantage into the intermission.

The Warriors made it a laugher in the third quarter, holding the Celtics to one field goal in the opening 5:59 while stretching the lead to 30 on Lee's 18-foot jumper with 6:13 remaining in the period. Golden State cruised to the fourth ahead 84-54, and both teams emptied their benches with the exception of Rondo, who stayed in the game until just 3:50 remained.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Golden State won the rebounding battle 45-40 while outscoring Boston 25-11 in fast-break points. ... Boston shot just 7-of-26 from beyond the arc. ... The Warriors play nine of their next 11 games at home, beginning Friday night against Atlanta.
