Londonderry's Jean-Luc Lemieux capped a memorable season by winning a New England title.

Lemieux defeated Derek Bohle of Timberlane Regional of Plaistow, 10-0, to win the 132-pound weight class during competition Saturday at Providence (R.I.) Career and Technical Academy. His effort allowed the Lancers to finish fourth, with 67 points, best among New Hampshire entrants.

State champ Timberlane took fifth, with 56 points. Mount Anthony of Bennington, Vt., scored 121 points to retain its team crown. Danbury, Conn., took second with 108 points, followed by Exeter/West Greenwich, R.I., with 71.

The only other New Hampshire individual champ — or even finalist — was Nashua North’s Joe Chemelski, who beat Tyler Mattison of Mount Anthony, 7-1, in the final.

Other top individual efforts included Ryan Peters of Timberlane (third, 138-pound class), David Burke of Exeter (fourth, 182), Nick Widmann of John Stark of Weare (fifth, 126), Manchester Central’s Keaton Peterson (fifth, 170), Kevin Ell of Pinkerton (sixth, 195), Tyler Fitzpatrick of Timberlane (sixth, 120), Will Bean of Londonderry (sixth, 160) and Pinkerton’s Dylan Barreiro (sixth, 170).

Other top New Hampshire teams were Nashua North (12th, 37 points), Central (22nd, 27) and Pinkerton (31st, 23).
