Brentwood narrowly rejects SB2

BRENTWOOD – Voters narrowly rejected proposals on both the town and school warrant to move from town meeting to SB2 style voting. The proposal on the town ballot needed 265 votes to pass and only received 253.

On the school ballot, the proposal needed 288 votes to pass and it received 284.

A total of 524 of the town's 2,837 registered voters cast ballots during Tuesday's elections for local office.
