Cryans defeats Kenney by a wide margin in Lyme


LYME-- In the special election for executive council Democrat  Michael J. Cryans won Lyme with 311 votes against Republican Joseph Kenney, who received 72 votes.

Out of the town’s 1,324 registered voters, 394 or 29 percent turned out for the special election. Ten voters left their ballots blank.
